Christoph Gröner studied in Munich, Venice and Salamanca. Since 2004 he has been a journalist in the field of culture and media (Süddeutsche Zeitung, Welt, AZ, Film&TV-Kamermann, Cinearte). Monika Schärer is a culture and travel journalist and is working since 1989 in TV and radio. In 2011, she acquired Topicfilm together with her husband, one of the oldest production companies in Switzerland. 2012 Schärer directed her first documentary feature for Swiss television, ROUSSEAUS CHILDREN, about an emigrated family. The film won the "Best Documentary" Award at the Anchorage International Film Festival in the section Snowdance and was shown at the Solothurner Filmtage. Schärer is also a moderator, speaker and panelist for cultural and political topics.
