Donald De Line

L.A. based producer Donald De Line scored his first major hit with the 2003 heist thriller THE ITALIAN JOB. De Line’s continued success includes Ridley Scott’s BODY OF LIES and John Hamburg’s I LOVE YOU MAN. In addition to his producing career, De Line has held positions as a studio executive, serving as President and Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures, and President of Touchstone Pictures. Among the films under his aegis were PRETTY WOMAN, Wes Anderson’s RUSHMORE, Tim Burton’s ED WOOD, and the blockbuster ARMAGEDDON. De Line believes in hard work and the power of keeping oneself well- informed about everything going on in film business. His career proves this philosophy is a key to success.

Harrison Ford

Michael Haneke

This Austrian director/screenwriter was born in 1942. After his studies in Vienna he started working for the Südwestfunk (ARD) and since 1970, Haneke has been a freelance director and screenwriter and is responsible for some of the most well-known and successful films of the last 20 years. He has won numerous awards for his work, including one Oscar. In 2001, he received the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes for LA PIANISTE (among many other European and International awards). The thriller CACHÉ with Juliette Binoche was honored with prizes such as Critics Prize in Cannes 2003, Director’s Prize and the Ecumenical Jury Prize as well as Best European Film and Best European Director at the European Film Awards in Berlin 2005. More of Haneke’s works include DAS WEISSE BAND (Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film & Goldene Palme in Cannes), WOLFZEIT, FUNNY GAMES, DER SIEBENTE KONTINENT and CODE - UNBEKANNT. In 2010, Haneke thrilled the world with his cinematic masterpiece AMOUR, a touching film about love and death with the sublime actors Emmanuelle Riva and Jean-Louis Trintignant. AMOUR received countless awards: Goldene Palme in Cannes 2012, Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, César for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay and Best Foreign Film Award at the New York Film Critic’s Awards, to only name a few.

Marc Forster

Born in Germany and raised in Switzerland, Marc Forster is one of the most successful and versatile directors worldwide. After finishing NYU Film School and moving to Los Angeles in his early years, he shot his first masterpiece EVERYTHING PUT TOGETHER, which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival. Forster’s filmmaking style was clearly evident in this searing psychological drama, which he also co-wrote. In the very same year, Forster won the Someone to Watch Award at the Independent Spirit Awards. His break through film, MONSTER'S BALL, was a critical and commercial success and received two Oscar nominations with Halle Berry winning for Best Actress. More great projects followed, such as STAY, STRANGER THAN FICTION, THE KITE RUNNER and FINDING NEVERLAND. The latter masterpiece was nominated for seven Oscars. Forster has worked with countless Hollywood stars including Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts and Dustin Hoffman. In 2008, Mr. Forster was asked to direct the James Bond Franchise’s QUANTUM OF SOLACE. The highly gifted director also triumphed with his latest coup; WORLD WAR Z has grossed more than 500 million dollars worldwide to date.

Christopher Hampton

Christopher Hampton was born in Portugal in 1946. At only 18 years old, he wrote the acclaimed play WHEN DID YOU LAST SEE MY MOTHER, which was produced at The Royal Court Theater two years later, while he was still in college. Hampton developed an interest in writing plays and eventually screenplays through his work as a translator. He is celebrated equally for his stage and screen works. Some of his masterpieces include DANGEROUS LIAISONS, NOSTROMO, CARRINGTON, A DANGEROUS METHOD and ATONEMENT. The latter was nominated for countless awards, such as the BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and the Online Film Critics Society Award (OFCS) for Best Screenplay. The film received seven Oscar nominations, one of which won for Best Music. His play THE PHILANTROPIST was awarded the 1975 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Play Production. The versatile writer even won two Tony Awards for the Musical SUNSET BOULEVARD as well as two Tony nominations for THE PHILANTROPIST and LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES. More prizes for Christopher Hampton’s screenplays include a Writers’ Guild of America Award, the Prix Italia, a Special Jury Award at the Cannes Film Festival and Hollywood Screenwriter of the year.

Markus Imboden & Jasmin Hoch

Born and raised in Switzerland, the successful Markus Imboden has been a freelance director and screenwriter since 1986. He celebrated his breakthrough in 1996 with his motion picture KATZENDIEBE, starring Beat Schlatter and Patrick Frey. With this first big hit he won the Prix Walo and the Golden Moments. More of his successful movies include KOMIKER, HEIDI, HUNGER AUF LEBEN, BELLA BLOCK – DENN SIE WISSEN NICHT WAS SIE TUN (German TV Prize), AUF IMMER UND EWIG UND EINEN TAG (nominated for the Adolf TV Prize), DER VERDINGBUB and MÖRDERISCHE JAGD. The box office hit DER VERDINGBUB, which was written by Jasmine Hoch and Plinio Bachmann, won numerous awards, such as Schweizer Filmpreis for Best Film in 2012, Prix Walo 2012 for Best Film as well as Best Actor at Festroia – International Film Festival Portugal. With screenwriter Jasmine Hoch he has also worked on other projects, one of which is the motion picture HEIDI. Jasmine Hoch wrote the script for DER GOALIE BIN IG, which is coming out in 2014. Markus Imboden’s latest coup AM HANG has its Premiere at the Zurich Film Festival on October 4th and will be in Swiss cinemas by October 24th. Markus Imboden is a member of the German and Swiss Film Academy and has been Head of Department “Master of Arts in Film” at ZHdK since 2012, where Jasmine Hoch is a lecturer as well.
