He later made a name for himself as a screenplay writer with his cult series Seinfeld, which won him an Emmy Award in 1992. Following his successful comedy BORAT: CULTURAL LEARNINGS OF AMERICA FOR MAKE BENEFIT GLORIOUS NATION OF KAZAKHSTAN, Charles was back with the provocative documentary film RELIGULOUS. Director Charles and protagonist Bill Maher investigate different religions across the globe - with plenty of humor. The Zurich Film Festival screened RELIGULOUS as a European premiere.
