Martin Kosok founded together with two fellow students from the University for Film and Television Munich, Alexander Fritzemeyer and Julian Anselmino, Martin founded his own production company DREIFILM in 2013. Before his time in Munich, Martin had gathered a lot of experience on film sets already, working as unit manager for film and television. While making his Bachelor in Theater and Media Studies in Bayreuth, he participated in many short film productions as well.
DREIFILM is a pretty successful startup: DON’T LOOK AT ME THAT WAY won numerous awards, among them the Bavarian Film Award. And the chain of success goes on and on. At the moment, they have two more feature films in production: the German-Polish co-production WYCIECZKA by Bartosz Grudziecki, and the German-Mexican collaboration DAS UNVERLÄSSLICHE LEBEN by Florian Seufert. While juggling this heavy amount of work, Martin also finds the time to write his thesis, which he will hand in right before attending the ZFF Master Class. That’s a reason to celebrate and we look forward to that!
