Bettina Oberli

Bettina Oberli was born 1972 in Interlaken and attended the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Zürich (HGKZ) major film/video from 1995 until 2000. She worked in New York as a prop assistant with the director Steve Buscemi and Hal Hartley on his feature film Henry Fool. As a student, she assisted in casting, camera and directorial work on various advertising films and with Swiss Television.

Bettina Oberli has worked as an author and director since graduating from film school. Following her multi award-winning film IM NORDWIND(2004), her latest feature film DIE HERBSTZEITLOSEN has been screened successfully since 2006 in Swiss cinemas. She received the 2004 bursary from the Internationale Bodenseekonferenz for her work to date. TANNÖD, her next work, was filmed in Germany in 2008.
